Terminalia arjuna is a medicinal herb used by Indian ayurvedic physicians due its ability to help many of heart problems is commonly known in South India.
It is known as Neer maruthu in Malayalam and Marutham Pattai in Tamil. Some commonly used names are – Arjuna, Arjuna Herb, Arjuna Root. Arjuna herb is easily available and we can see the tree in many places. Common in almost every part of India. Grows well along bank of streams, rivers, ravines, dry water courses, reaching very large sizes.
